Reproductive Justice Under Siege: Intersectional Impacts of U.S. Restrictions

Reproductive justice, a framework that accounts for structural inequities that influence reproductive choices, is facing an existential crisis. Bodily autonomy is being curtailed through legislation, litigation, and funding restrictions that disproportionately harm marginalized communities. These attacks are part of a coordinated movement to restrict gender, sexual, and reproductive freedoms. Reproductive justice, born from Black feminist thought, offers a roadmap to resist these attacks and to build a future rooted in health equity, self-determination, and care.
